The devasation is horrific,  many neighbourhoods are wiped out, many thousands dead , tens of thousands injured and hundreds of thousands homeless…. In a country that, prior to the quake, had great difficulty maintaining the most basic of their population’s daily requirements for a normal existence…International organizations are scrambling to get in assistance to the areas affected.
