GWC focuses on collaborative learning, connecting leaders, and investing in sustainable, scalable and replicable projects. The Small Water Users Association of BC is a  non-profit society dedicated to serving the interests of small water systems throughout British Columbia.  The mission of the Small Water Users Association of BC is twofold:

1. To foster cooperation and information sharing amongst small water systems throughout BC in order to improve system operations and reduce costs.
2. To represent the concerns and interests of small water systems before all levels of government.

Started in 1994, EcoKids is a free, environmental education program that offers curriculum-linked materials and activities for Canadian elementary schools to engage in environmental action. The site is award winning too, an interactive environmental web site for children, their families, and educators in Canada and around the world. It offers topical information about the environment through interactive, fun, educational games and activities that utilize participants’ willingness to learn.

Earth Day Canada (EDC) has been inspiring Canadians to improve the state of the environment since 1990. EDC is a not-for-profit environmental charity that specializes in educating people about current environmental issues and helping them find solutions. There site is worth a visit. LINK: ECOKIDS

The Municipal Research and Services Center (MRSC) is a non-profit, independent organization created in 1969. The organization’s site has published an overview of water conservation practices, guidelines, issues and information resources. LINK: MRSC

African Water Issues Research Unit (AWIRU)  is a non-for-profit applied research organisation, established to develop an African capacity to understand the complexity of African water management and development issues. The National Ground Water Association is the hallmark organization for anyone affiliated with the groundwater industry. A nonprofit organization, NGWA is comprised of more than 13,000 U.S. and international groundwater professionals—contractors, scientists and engineers, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers. The association’s purpose is to provide guidance to members, government representatives, and the public for sound scientific, economic, and beneficial development, protection, and management of the world’s groundwater resources.
